Rockey – Dealer
Rockey has been riding Harley-Davidson® motorcycles for years (he won’t say how
many) and had always dreamt of opening a Harley shop. The opportunity arose
in 1998, and with many months of hunting for a suitable location, meeting
Motor Company requirements, and lining up the needed expertise, Redwood Harley-Davidson opened its doors in May of 1999. Little did Rockey dream that the dealership staff would double, then triple
and the once cavernous space that housed the shop would be much too small
in mere months. He's now the proud papa of a new-from-the-ground-up, state-of-the-art, it-has-everything, shiny-as-a-new-Softail® facility which opened in the spring of 2006. |

| ADMINISTRATION – Behind-The-Scenes |
|
 |
Rexanne – General Merchandise Manager
Rex started in the motorcycle business nearly 20 years ago, moonlighting
behind a parts counter. The school of hard knocks didn’t discourage her,
and her hard-earned expertise has made her an ideal General Merchandise Manager. She
knows parts, she knows riding gear, she knows motorcycles, she knows customer
service, she knows how to get things done. |
|
 |
Teri – Sales/Finance Manager
In 1981 Teri went to work for a motorcycle dealership and never looked back.
She’s the expert in the behind-the-scenes organization that helps new owners
get on a bike and keeps the dealership running smoothly. Her three kids make
sure she never has any “free” time. |
|
 |
Phebe – Business Operations
After 30+ years in higher education, Phebe made a career change. Her years of
work with bureaucracies made her the logical person to handle reports, forms,
budgets and miscellaneous paperwork. |
|
 |
Marta – Bookkeeper/Office Manager
Another of the charter members of the RH-D staff, Marta has over 25 years experience
in bookkeeping and accounting. Making sure the bills get paid and there’s
money in the bank and the files are kept in order is all part of Marta’s
responsibility. After a couple of years working at RH-D, Marta got her motorcycle
license and now rides with her family. |
|
| SERVICE – A Full-Service Shop |
|
 |
Ken – Service Manager
Ken was born with a wrench in his hand. One of the founding staff of Redwood
H-D, Ken has built the service shop into an award-winning operation, staffed
with factory-trained technicians. Ken’s passions include racing and performance
work (and building bikes, of course). |
|
 |
Leif – Expert Technician
Four years of auto shop and several years of working on cars gave Leif the mechanic
bug. He started out cleaning bathrooms at RH-D and bugging the Service Manager
until Ken relented and let Leif pick up a wrench. Leif has now completed
factory training at the “Expert” level and is working for his Harley “Master’s
degree.” Racing is his other passion, and you’ll find him at the track most
weekends. |
|
 |
Jimmy – Service Assistant
Jimmy has been washing, drying, detailing vehicles for more than 20 years. Right
out of high school he got a job in a detail shop. Cars, trucks, even airplanes,
and now bikes. Jimmy’s attention to the little details scores high with customers. |
|
 |
Grant – Service Writer
After 24 years in the Army, Grant was looking for a second career that would
be FUN. He’s always loved Harleys as a sport and now he’s having fun with
Harley® motorcycles as a career. |
|
 |
Barney – Service/Maintenance Assistant
Barney is a jack of all trades -- he can be found anywhere and everywhere in the dealership cleaning, moving, polishing, repairing, building, and always, always smiling. Barney has many years experience as a construction worker, ranch hand and maintenance mechanic. We’ve been able to use most of his skills although he’s working with a different kind of HOG now. |
|
 |
Dustin – Technician
Dustin is a graduate of MMI and has been working in the motorcycle trade for 4 years now. He is currently working on his “expert” level status with Harley-Davidson®. We are happy to have him in our Service Department. |
|
| PARTS – Genuine Harley-Davidson Parts and Accessories |
|
 |
Bruce – Parts Manager
A forced career change got Bruce out of the seat of a log truck and behind the
Parts counter. Bruce got his first big bike at 14 and has been riding ever
since. His 40 years of Harley® expertise has made him our resident authority
on Panheads, Shovelheads and older Harley® motorcycles. His wicked sense of humor keeps
the Parts staff from taking themselves too seriously. |
|
 |
Vince – Parts Associate
About five years behind Bruce, a forced career change also got Vince out of the
lumber industry and behind the Parts counter. He’s been on and around Harley® motorcycles
most of his life and always wanted to work with motorcycles. And like Bruce,
his life experience has given him an extensive knowledge of both older and
newer Harley® motorcycles. |
|
 |
Terry – Shipping and Receiving
Terry’s excellent customer service caught the eye (and ear) of our General Manager
who wooed Terry away from her position at a local restaurant and into our
Shipping and Receiving department. Terry handles an ever-growing volume of
freight with great attention to the details. |
|
 |
Emily – Parts Associate
Emily made her first career change before she graduated from college, deciding
that Harley-Davidson® motorcycles were more exciting than art. She inherited her father’s
FLSTSC and she was hooked. She’s now working as a Parts assistant and hoping
to become a full-time mechanic. |

 |
Mika - Sales Associate
Mika joins Redwood Harley with 5 years retail and customer service experience. This background definitely made her an asset! She will be working on the sales floor and assisting in our finance department. Mika's love for Harley-Davidson® motorcycles grew throughout the years on the back of her dad's bike. |
