Meet The Staff
Rockey - Dealer
Dealer / Owner
Rockey Rockey has been riding Harley-Davidson® motorcycles for years (he won’t say how many) and had always dreamed of opening a Harley shop. The opportunity arose in 1998, and after many months of hunting for a suitable location, meeting Motor Company requirements, and lining up the needed expertise, Redwood Harley-Davidson opened its doors in May of 1999. Little did Rockey dream that the dealership staff would double, then triple and the once cavernous space that housed the shop would be much too small in mere months. Redwood Harley's new-from-the-ground-up, state-of-the-art, it-has-everything, shiny-as-a-new-Softail® facility opened in the spring of 2006.

Phebe - Business Operations
Administration
After 30+ years in higher education, Phebe made a career change. Her years of work with bureaucracies made her the logical person to handle reports, forms, budgets and miscellaneous paperwork.

Teri - Finance Manager
Administration
In 1981 Teri went to work for a motorcycle dealership and never looked back. She’s the expert in the behind-the-scenes organization that helps keep the dealership running smoothly. Her three kids make sure she never has any “free” time.

Marta - Bookkeeper/Office Manager
Administration
Another of the charter members of the RH-D staff, Marta has over 25 years experience in bookkeeping and accounting. Making sure the bills get paid and there’s money in the bank and the files are kept in order is all part of Marta’s responsibility. After a couple of years working at RH-D, Marta got her motorcycle license and now rides with her family.

Lee - Vehicle Sales
Vehicle Sales

lee 2Although Lee has ridden for years, he made the mistake of riding a Harley® about 10 years ago and his life changed. Lee is the proud owner of a '01 Deuce--a real show bike that has taken eight "firsts" in nine shows. He has also been active in the local Harley Owners Group, serving as Road Captain for several years.  Lee has been in sales for most of his life--cars, boats, and now Harley-Davidson® motorcycles.

Vince - Assistant Parts Manager
Parts
About five years behind Bruce, a forced career change also got Vince out of the lumber industry and behind the Parts counter. He’s been on and around Harley® motorcycles most of his life and always wanted to work with motorcycles. And like Bruce, his life experience has given him an extensive knowledge of both older and newer Harley® motorcycles. Vince rides a black 1999 FLHT.

Terry - Shipping & Receiving
Parts
Terry’s excellent customer service caught the eye (and ear) of our General Manager who wooed Terry away from her position at a local restaurant and into our Shipping and Receiving department. Terry handles an ever-growing volume of freight with great attention to the details and assists with Parts/Service liaison.

Stephanie - Vehicle Sales & General Merchandise

Steph_edited_8-09 Stephanie joined us from St. Louis, MO, where she worked at a Harley-Davidson® dealership for several years. Her specialties are helping customers get the right bike, the right gear, and the right financing! Stephanie rides a 2005 Low Rider™ -- Vivid Black of course!

Natosha - Sales Associate
Showroom Staff
Natosha_edited_8-09Natosha joined us with several years experience working in retail sales, with a specialty in "customer service to exceed expectations." If you need gear, a gift or a souvenir, come see Natosha.

Bruce - Parts & Service Manager
Service
bruce sepia 9-09A forced career change got Bruce out of the seat of a log truck and behind the Parts counter. Bruce got his first big bike at 14 and has been riding ever since. His 40-plus years of Harley® expertise has made him our resident authority on Panheads, Shovelheads and older Harley® motorcycles. His wicked sense of humor keeps the Parts & Service staff from taking themselves too seriously. Bruce rides a very black 2006 Street Bob™.

John - Service Consultant
Service
john colorJohn joined the staff at Redwood Harley after several career changes. A job as a wine steward brought him from Florida to Napa, and a side trip from Napa brought him north where he and his wife fell in love with the natural beauty of the Redwood coast. After a stint in glass making at a local shop, John made the jump to a career in motorcycles. He claims he grew up in his uncle's bike shop, and his collection of bikes would attest to his love (he has a red one, a blue one, a black and gold one...). We've put his expertise and his customer service skills to work behind both the Parts and Service counters.

mike sepiaA California native, Mike spent time in Arizona as a mechanic working on the bikes of the future at the Harley-Davidson® test site before joining us at Redwood H-D. Mike has lots of motorcycle experience and Harley-Davidson® factory training too.  Mike tries to get in a little fishing and visiting with the grandkids when he's not maintaining his fleet of five (yes, five) motorcycles of various vintages and states of repair.  He mainly rides his '02 Dyna® WideGlide® (in Vivid Black, natch).
